Chocolate-Chip Cookies

CHOCOLATE-CHIP COOKIES
(The Greatest Cookies Ever pg. 64.)

Ingredients:
1 stick of softened butter
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. baking soda
A dash or so of salt
1 1/4 c. flour
1 c. chocolate chips

Equipment:
Measuring cups
and spoons
Greased cookie sheets
Large mixing bowl
Mixer/Fork/Wooden spoon
Spoon

1. Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Cream the butter and sugar in the large mixing bowl
3.  Add egg and vanilla. Blend well.
4. Slowly mix in the flour, salt, and baking soda gradually.
5. Add chocolate chips.
6. Place on greased cookie sheet, and bake for 8-10 minutes and let cool before eating.
7. ENJOY! :)

The cookies I made were undercooked in the center because the edges got cooked too fast.
