Cherry-Walnut Balls

Today I made....

CHERRY - WALNUT BALLS

Ingredients:
1/4 c. of chopped cherries
1 c. softened butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. of almond extract
1/2 tsp. of vanilla
2 c. flour
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
Powdered sugar

Equipment:
Mixer
Wooden spoon
Plate
Un-greased cookie sheet
(I accidentally greased it but they still turned out fine.)
Measuring cups & spoons

1. Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees. Drain Cherries. Set aside.
2. In a mixing bowl, beat butter with powdered sugar, vanilla, almond extract, and try to blend in as much flour as you can. Beat until combined.
3. Then add the cherries, nuts, and any flour you couldn't mix with the mixer.
4. Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet about 2'' apart.
About this far ----------------------------------------------.
5. Bake for 18-20 minutes. (THE RECIPE SAID THIS- I WOULD NOT BAKE IT FOR MORE THAN 15!!)
6. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
7. ENJOY!! :)

This was an AWESOME recipe. Everyone liked them-they were gone w/in 5 minutes after they were done. They taste allot like Boston teacakes but w/ cherries.
You should make these they are SO good they're the best cookies I  ever made.
